Churches Ride and Stride September 11th 2010

Hundreds of people across the County of Kent are preparing to get on their bikes or put on their walking shoes to raise funds for churches and chapels in the area.

The Friends of Kent Churches sponsored Ride and Stride will have participants visiting as many churches as they like from the 750 taking part. Each individual plans his or her own route between 10am and 6pm. Those sitting in churches to welcome visitors may be sponsored too.

This year the Friends are hoping to equal or even exceed last year’s total of £150,500. Sponsor forms, and a list of all the churches which will be open are available from your church or from Carolyn Millen on 01622 843383.
